The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the AAN Foundation award the Potamkin Prize for Research in Pick's, Alzheimer's, and Related Diseases to recognize major contributions to the understanding of the cause, prevention, treatment of, and ultimately the cure for Pick's, Alzheimer's, and related diseases. The recipient is expected to present a 20-minute lecture during an aging and dementia scientific session at the 60th AAN Annual Meeting held in Chicago, Illinois, April 12 to 19, 2008.
