research problems.  By participating, CR Scholars are helped to become
independent researchers and assume leadership roles in multidisciplinary
clinical and translational research.

The Program provides didactic and mentored clinical research training for
PhDs, MDs, and persons with clinical doctorates from diverse disciplines
who are committed to academic careers in clinical or translational
research.

The program involves didactic coursework leading to a Master of Science
degree in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) or a Master of Public Health (MPH)
degree, although applicants can pursue individualized coursework or a PhD.
The hands-on mentored clinical research practicum is supported by a
research design incubator that includes a biostatistician, research
coordinators, and data management personnel.

Generous financial support and benefits are provided for post-doctorate
scholars, fellows, and junior faculty, which allow scholars to focus on
didactic studies and clinical research.
