The Hope Center is pleased to announce the winners of the 4th Annual Hope Center Awards Competition:
 
Craig Press, laboratory of Jeff Milbrandt, MD, PhD, "Nmnat delays axonal degeneration caused by mitochondrial and
oxidative stress."
 
Qiang Liu, PhD, laboratory of  Guojun Bu, PhD, "Amyloid Precursor Protein Regulates Brain Apolipoprotein E and
Cholesterol Metabolism through Lipoprotein Receptor LRP1."

The winners will be formally announced at the 2nd Annual Symposium on Translational Neuroscience
(Thursday, May 8, 2:30 - 5:00 pm, Connor Auditorium, FLTC). In addition, each will present his work at the
Hope Center/Department of Neurology seminar on Monday, May 12 at 12:15pm in Erlanger Auditorium.
