Mark Goldberg is Clinical Lecturer Of the Year PDF Print E-mail

December 2, 2005 — When Washington University School of Medicine students honored faculty at the Distinguished Service Teaching Awards ceremony November 21, Hope Center Director Mark P. Goldberg, M.D. was the class of 2006's pick for "Clinical Lecturer of the Year."

The secret to Dr. Goldberg's success as a lecturer appears to go beyond "brains, wits, and charm" to sparing no detail--particularly the students' comfort.

Jason Keune, Graduate Professional Council Representative, explained the appeal of Dr. Goldberg's classes this way: "Dr. Goldberg's lectures during the neurology rotation were unsurpassed... [he] knows that popcorn makes neurology fun, and spared nothing in keeping the popcorn in great supply."
