The Hope Center acknowledges the passing of ALS pioneer Stephen Heywood PDF Print E-mail

The Hope Center regrets that Stephen Heywood, age 37, lost his battle against ALS.  Stephen and his brother Jaime have had a significant impact in raising awareness about ALS.  Jaime founded ALS TDF, a nonprofit biotechnology company whose mission is to screen drugs and identify potential therapies for ALS.  Jaime and Stephen have been featured in The New Yorker, on "60 minutes" and in the book, "My Brother's Keeper".
