Hope Center investigator, Carl Frieden, Ph.D, will receive the 2007 Christian B. Anfinsen Award at the 21st Symposium of the Protein Society July 21-25 in Boston.  Dr. Frieden is professor of biochemistry and of molecular biophysics.

This award recognizes significant technical achievements in the field of protein science.  The award is named for biochemist Christian Boehmer Anfinsen, Jr., a 1972 Nobel Award in Chemistry.
