Collaborative seed grant proposals were solicited with the following requirements: 1) involve more than one
laboratory and discipline, 2) address a current scientific focus of the Hope Center, 3) have a clear application
to research translation, and 4) show promise for subsequent independent funding. The projects listed below
exemplified the above criteria for their respective year.
