The Hope Center participates in training and education for physicians, scientists, and students at all levels, including undergraduates, medical students, graduate students, and postdoctoral trainees.

Graduate Courses Offered in the Hope Center

  • Biology 5663: Neurobiology of Disease Graduate course in the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences. Taught bi-annually, next course Spring 2008. Open to students, faculty and staff.

Training for Ph.D. and M.D. / Ph.D. Degrees

Graduate education is provided through the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences. Many members of the Hope Center act as research mentors and teach in the Division. Applicants should apply directly to the appropriate degree program.

Undergraduate Research opportunities

Washington University undergraduates have extensive opportunities to interact with the Hope Center through independent study, summer research, Federal Work-Study programs, and special programs at the Hilltop campus.

High School Students

Washington University has several programs available to high school students for summer or school year research projects.
